They searched “frozen shoulder”. You have one “services” page.
Your therapists are good, and patients who finish a course often come back and send friends. Yet evening slots sit empty and new patients find a clinic down the road instead. This playbook shows where those patients go — and where the ones who start a course quietly stop.
The short versionMost physiotherapy clinics lose patients because they have no page for the condition and place people search, leave the cost and number of sessions unexplained, and answer post-injury enquiries too slowly. More are lost after session two when nobody books the next visit — and pages, routing and follow-up fix this, not a bigger ad budget.

Why a good clinic still loses the patient
Patients don't search for physio. They search for what hurts.
Patients can't judge manual therapy or an exercise programme before they arrive, and they don't try to. Someone whose back went this morning, or whose doctor said “see a physio”, types the problem and the place, picks a clinic that looks like it treats exactly that, checks the fee and whether there's an evening slot, and books. It takes minutes. A clinic with one generic services page, no fee guidance and phone-only booking is out of the running before anyone reads about its therapists.

Why don't patients find our physio clinic on Google Maps?
Patients search by condition and place — “physio for lower back pain near me”, “frozen shoulder treatment”. A profile that only says “physiotherapy” and a site with one services page give Google and AI assistants nothing to match, so a clinic that listed each condition gets the visit.

Should a physiotherapy clinic show its fees online?
Patients want three things before booking: the fee per session, roughly how many sessions a course takes, and whether insurance or an employer covers it. “Prices on request” reads as expensive. A page that explains the fee, why course length depends on assessment, and claims or home-visit options is the answer assistants quote.

Why do physio enquiries go cold?
Most injury enquiries come in the first few days, often in the evening after work or training. An answer at 10am the next day usually finds the patient already booked elsewhere. Calls, forms, WhatsApp and DMs need one owner and a way to book an evening slot without phoning.
What we'd do about it
Five moves, in the order that pays.
Fix the leaks first, then grow. Scaling a funnel that loses enquiries just spends more to lose more.

Questions physio clinics ask
Straight answers, no sales script.
Straight answers. If yours isn't here, a 30-minute call is the fastest route — no pitch, no deck.
Yes, or at least answer the question. Give the assessment and follow-up fee, explain that course length depends on the assessment, and say how insurance, employer cover and home visits work. Patients who can’t find this tend to assume the worst.
Most of our patients come from doctors. Do we need search at all?
Referred patients often search your name before booking, and self-referrers search by condition. A thin profile loses both. Doctor referrals are also easier to grow when there's a clear page to send patients to.
Why do patients stop after one or two sessions?
Often for practical reasons — no next appointment booked before they left, no reminder, or feeling better and not knowing the plan. We don’t change clinical advice; we make re-booking and follow-up easy so the plan your therapist set is easier to keep.
What can our condition pages say about results?
They describe what an assessment involves, who the service is for and when to see a doctor first. We don’t write outcome claims, and testimonials and therapist profiles stay within the advertising and professional rules in your country.
How long before a physio clinic notices a difference?
Profile, reply-time and online-booking fixes can show within four to six weeks because they plug leaks rather than build demand. Ranking for new conditions or areas usually takes a few months, depending on competition. We don’t guarantee rankings or bookings.
Does this work for home visits or a clinic inside a gym?
Yes. Home-visit services need a clear service area on the profile and pages for the areas covered. A clinic inside a gym needs its own listing and booking path, separate from the gym’s.
Which social platforms matter most for a physiotherapy clinic?
Your Google Business Profile and Instagram first: people search the condition, check the clinic on the map and look at who treats it. YouTube exercise videos build trust between sessions, and LinkedIn keeps you visible to referring doctors. Keep claims within the rules for your profession.
Do we get a free website for our clinic?
Yes. Every monthly plan includes a free 5-page website for your clinic — fast, AI-readable and yours to keep. It goes live within 48 hours once your plan is active and the launch checklist is done. Your domain, hosting and any paid tools sit outside the offer and stay in your name; online shops and booking systems are quoted separately. What's included
