“Is it funded? Will I get work?” Your page lists modules.
Your trainers come from the trade and your workshops are well equipped. But people looking at an electrical, welding, care or hospitality course ask two questions before anything else: can I get funding, and does it lead to work? This playbook shows where learners go when your site doesn't say.
The short versionMost vocational training providers lose learners because their courses don't show up in local searches, funding eligibility and employment outcomes are missing or vague, and enquiries wait days while people weigh up giving up wages to train. Plain funding answers, verified outcomes and fast replies fix it.

Why a good provider still loses the learner
Learners don't compare syllabuses. They compare funding and jobs.
Someone retraining is weighing up lost wages, travel and months of study. They search the trade and the place, then look for three answers: am I eligible for funding, what does it cost if not, and do people who finish actually get work? Often they're asking for a partner or a parent too. The provider that answers plainly gets the call. A course page listing modules, with funding and outcomes left to a phone conversation, loses them before the first visit.

Why don't learners find our training centre on Google Maps?
Vocational searches are local and specific — “welding course near me”, “care certificate evening classes”, “forklift training this month”. A profile that only says “training provider”, with no courses, workshop photos or start dates, loses to a larger group that filled those in, even when your trainers are better.

Should a training provider explain funding eligibility online?
For many learners, funding decides whether they train at all. Who's eligible, what proof is needed, what's covered and the full cost if they're not eligible — published plainly, per course. Vague wording makes people assume they don't qualify and stop looking. It's also the exact answer assistants quote.

Why do vocational training enquiries go cold?
People enquire after work or at weekends, often while also applying for jobs. A reply three days later, when the adviser gets through the inbox, often finds they have taken work or enrolled where someone answered first. One queue, an adviser assigned and a funding checklist sent straight away keep them.

Questions training providers ask
Straight answers, no sales script.
Straight answers. If yours isn't here, a 30-minute call is the fastest route — no pitch, no deck.
Funding rules change. Isn't it risky to publish eligibility?
Less risky than leaving it vague. Publish the current position in plain words, date it and link to the official source. We set up a simple review so pages are updated when the rules change.
Can we publish job outcomes for our learners?
Yes, if you can verify them: state the cohort, how the data was collected and when. Name partner employers only with their agreement. We don't write job or earnings promises, and content stays within the rules that apply in your country.
Most of our learners are referred by job centres or employers. Does search matter?
Referred learners still search your name, check reviews and look for start dates before turning up. And self-funded or career-change learners almost always start with a search.
Should we publish the full course cost if most learners are funded?
Yes. People who aren't eligible need to know the cost, and people who are want to know what the funding covers. Silence on price reads as expensive.
How long before a training provider notices a difference?
Profile, funding-answer and reply-time fixes can show in enquiries within weeks. Career guides usually take a few months to rank. Intakes are seasonal, so we compare like-for-like periods. We don't guarantee enrolments.
We run courses at several sites. How does that work?
Each site with its own address needs its own profile, start dates and course pages, so learners find the one they can actually travel to.
Which social platforms matter for a vocational training centre?
Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp. Adult learners ask about funding in local groups, watch workshop clips to judge the training, and message with start-date questions. Instagram reaches younger learners. Only describe funding and employer links you can confirm, and never promise a job.
Do we get a free website for our centre?
Yes. Every monthly plan includes a free 5-page website for your centre — fast, AI-readable and yours to keep. It goes live within 48 hours once your plan is active and the launch checklist is done. Your domain, hosting and any paid tools sit outside the offer and stay in your name; online shops and booking systems are quoted separately. What's included
